Aromatic diffuser - unlike candles, sachets and chemical flavors - the most subtle, environmentally friendly and effective option for flavoring the room. Moreover, not everyone understands its device, and not everyone knows how to use it correctly. We decided to correct this mistake.
The word "diffuser" comes from the Latin word diffusion, which means "dispersion."
The classic aromatic diffuser consists of three parts: a bottle, sticks and essential oil. The sticks are most often made from pottery, rattan, cane or bamboo. The most effective ones are from rattan. They have a loose surface, as if consisting of capillaries, along which the aromatic liquid can move upwards, causing the aroma in the room to increase. Also sticks can be made from fiber. In essence, these are compressed cotton fibers.
When buying an aromatic diffuser, remember - when it runs out of liquid, it is not necessary to buy a new bottle, in specialized stores they sell a refill bottle (filler for an aromatic diffuser) with aromatic oil.
Try not to use at the same time several diffusers with different aromas for the house, there is a possibility that the aromas will kill each other and nothing good will come of it.
Before purchasing an aromatic diffuser, it is important to understand how much the bottle should have and for how long it will last. It is believed that 100 - 150 ml is perfect for rooms up to 10-15 square meters. This diffuser lasts for 4 - 6 weeks. A bottle of 200 - 250 ml is suitable for a room of 15-25 square meters. This amount of oil is enough for 8 - 12 weeks of operation of the diffuser. Large bottles of 500 ml are able to scent a room of 20-40 square meters. Such a volume evaporates for a long time - from 12 to 15 weeks.
It is important to know - the wider the neck of the diffuser, the more intense and faster the aroma will evaporate. But the sharpness of the smell can be controlled precisely by the number of sticks. It is believed that the sticks should be turned upside down about 1 - 2 times a week. Fiber sticks should not be turned at all.
